Research for the Ability tournament involved understanding the needs and aspirations of young female athletes, as well as how branding could inspire confidence and empowerment. Insights from focus groups and athlete testimonials were used to shape a brand identity that would resonate with the target audience and reflect the values of both Lululemon and the movement.

The design process focused on creating a bold and vibrant visual identity that reflects empowerment, confidence, and energy. Consistent use of colors, typography, and imagery across all branding materials, from the tennis court to online presence, helped build a cohesive look and feel that encourages young women to pursue their goals both on and off the court.
